The 3c carbon and Wool Cartridge performs two very important funtions in the aquarium. Firstly, the high quality Aqua One Activated Carbon both purifies and clarifies the aquarium water, removing discolouration and odours, whilst the Polymer Wool layer on top not only protects the carbon from becoming clogged, the fine wool traps the very smallest particles of aquarium debris / waste.
