102c Ceramic Cartridge from Aqua One - (25102c)

Aqua One's 102c Ceramic Cartridge is a very clever design, that works in many of Aqua One's aquariums including AquaNano 25, AquaNano 30, AquaNano 40, AquaNano 60, 130, Betta Mono, Betta Duo, Betta Trio, Xpression 17, Xpression 21, Xpression 27 and Xpression 32.

The sintered glass filter media contained within the 102c Ceramic Cartridge provides a perfect home for millions of microscopic nitrifying bacteria that help to keep unwanted bacteria at bay. It's the same principle as Aqua One's very popular BioNood which works in exactly the same way.

Change every 16 weeks

For best results we recommend changing the 102c cartridge every 16 weeks as it will have generally started to become clogged with aquarium waste. Sadly it's very difficult to rinse the 102c Ceramic Cartridge in aquarium water and we recommend changing the 102c in line with the manufacturers instructions, so that water flow doesn't become restricted.

Easy to install, low maintenance

The 102c Ceramic Cartridge is extremely easy to install and maintain, but it's always worth checking the condition of the 102c once a month to ensure that it's not become clogged with aquarium debris. If it has, then it's time to replace it with a fresh cartridge. The lifespan of the 102c Ceramic Cartridge will generally be determined by the quality of aquarium water in your fish tank.
