Aqua One's 418c Carbon Cartridge is an important part of the both the Moray 700 and Moray 700L internal filter systems. The 418c Carbon Cartridge contains Aqua One's highly activated carbon granules which are designed to both purify and clarify the aquarium water, removing discolouration and odours, helping to keep your aquarium in great condition.

Change every 4-6 weeks

Activated carbon only has a very short life, becoming completely saturated with the impurities it has removed from the water. For this reason the 418c cartridge should be replaced every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on water quality. If you notice a deterioration in the clarity of your aquarium water or if has become odourous, then it's time to change the cartridge. In all cases the 418c Carbon Cartridge is considered to be completely used up after about 6 weeks and will have very little to give after this time. A new cartridge will ensure the continuance of great aquarium filtration.

Easy to install, low maintenance

The cylindrical design of the 418c Carbon Cartridge for Moray 700 and Moray 700L ensures maximum water flow through the carbon granules and this design also makes it very easy to change. Do check the condition of the 418c about once a week, to ensure it hasn't become clogged with aquarium waste. If this is the case, simply rinse in a little aquarium water and replace, but do be sure to change this cartridge in line with the manufacturer's recommendation as outlined above.
