Aqua One's 416s Black Sponge Pad provides physical filtration in Aqua One's Moray 320 and Moray 320L internal filters. The 416s Black Sponge's primary function is the removal of unwanted larger particles of aquarium waste and debris from your aquarium. Black sponges are designed to attract waste and often become fairly clogged, so it's important that they are checked on a regular basis.

Change every 8 weeks

As with most Black Sponges, the 416s may be rinsed in discarded aquarium water if it has become clogged and then reused in the filter. However for best results with your 416s Black Sponge it's best to replace every 8 weeks to help maintain your aquarium in perfect condition.
