110c Carbon and Wool Cartridge from Aqua One - (25110C)

Aqua One's 110c Carbon and Wool Cartridge is an essential part of the filtration system of a number of Aqua One filtration systems, including: NanoSkim 40.

The 110c Cartridges performs two very important funtions in the aquarium. Firstly, the high quality Aqua One Activated Carbon both purifies and clarifies the aquarium water, removing discolouration and odours, whilst the Polymer Wool layer on top not only protects the carbon from becoming clogged, the fine wool traps the very smallest particles of aquarium debris / waste.

Change every 4 weeks

You'll see from the video below that the 110c cartridge can become very dirty in the aquarium filter system, working hard to trap unwanted waste matter and it's clear that this cannot be rinsed successfully and must be replaced with a fresh 110c cartridge.

Equally, it's important to note that the Activated Carbon Particles in the 110c will have become completely used up within 4 to 6 weeks, as the carbon granules will have absorbed their full capacity of unwanted impurities in this time and for this reason too, the 110c cartridge must be replaced with a brand new one.

Easy to install, low maintenance
